Over to Loy Kroh to Ben's Bar

DAY 2 (12 April 2012, Thursday)
The favourite kway teow noodle stall for breakfast. What's so special about this stall is that the uncle is able to speak Mandarin. It makes the whole ordering process simplified where he allows us to pick and choose the ingredients we want to add to our kway teow soup.

Tim Sum to enhance our breakfast

Posing with the elephants at the Airport Central Plaza

Lunch at Fuji Japanese Restaurant

Got a Paul Frank ipad sleeve at one of the many gadget stores at the Airport Central Plaza

After a tiring day of shopping, we went to Lila Massage for a 2hr traditional Thai massage. By the time we finished, we were again hungry and we had dinner at one of the street side stall selling Thai food.

DAY 4 (14 April 2012, Saturday)
Starting the day with Uncle's Kway Teow Soup as usual

As the time spent in Chiang Mai is too long, we decided to head out to Pai for an overnight experience of the Songkran festival there. Enroute Route 107 and Route 1095, we stopped at the 32km restaurant for some freshly brewed coffee.

Arriving in Pai, stopping by Coffee In Love

Our resort in the Heart of Pai

Relaxing on a warm and lazy afternoon for lunch at Cake Go

DAY 5 (15 April 2012, Sunday)

Santichun Village

Yunnan dishes for breakfast!

Back to Coffee in Love again, for souvenirs, coffee and more photos!

The 140km journey from Pai to Chiang Mai would normally take us 2hrs, however due to Songkran celebrations around the moat, the massive traffic congestion took us more than 1.5hrs in excess of time spent in the car.

Bought a variety of food to eat at our hotel's balcony

The Sunday Walking Street is Chiang Mai's largest night bazaar. The 4km stretch of stalls selling a variety of products/food could have easily taken you at least 4hrs to walk by foot.

On our last night in Chiang Mai, we headed back at the cocktail cycle for drinks with the friendly barmaid

Midnight supper at Mike's Original

DAY 6 (16 April 2012, Monday)
A great sumptuous breakfast to end the trip!

With hours to spare, we headed to Lila Massage for a 2hrs oil massage session

Khao Soi for lunch at the airport before departing on Air Asia flight FD3451 for Singapore
